Economy, Shmonomy

Well... as we are ALL well aware, the economy SUCKS right now. It's almost IMPOSSIBLE to find a good full time job, so some of us are resorting to multiple part time jobs. I am hopeful as I have an interview for a second part time job on the 11th of this month. Not as soon as I'd like but I will manage. I am hoping that they will work around my current work schedule... however I think it to be doubtful. All one can do is just bust their behind to be able to make ends meet. I hope that no one reading this is in the same precarious situation, it is just so stressful. Brighter days are ahead for me though, I know it! Happy Holidays to all!

Girls night....

Tomorrow is girls night at my best friends house. We do this about 3-4 times per year, if able. There is something about it though, that makes be excited from the MINUTE the week starts! I don't know if it's just being able to really let loose, no kids, no husbands, no STRESS! Just us girls being the goofy, semi-retarded girls that we are. I wonder if guys feel the same way when they plan to have a guys night. I suppose not... it would seem kind of odd if a guy was excited all week about hanging out with his buddies, but what makes it okay for girls to get that excited about seeing one another? I mean, is it that we have stronger bonds between us than men do? Is it because we are smarter and know how to cherish every moment we have together as though it was our last? Thinking about it, I WISH my husband would get that excited about guys night. Sometimes, I feel like men feel they have to live up to some standard of toughness, and it's really not fair for them. Oh well.... someday, in some life, that will change. Until then.... let's MAKE our men be excited for guys night... after all, we owe them that much don't we? Let's give them gift of excitement, after all if your man works his ass off to keep a roof over your head, food on the table and clothes on your back, it's the LEAST he deserves!
